Mike McLoughlin is a musician of many styles and talents. At an early age he began to play the hand drums,percussion and then drums. He picked up a guitar around 13 years old and it was love at first sight. Many bands hired Mike as thier drummer and at break he would start playing guitar and soon all were either mad because it came so easy for him to come up with origianl licks, or glad and wanted to join in. Mike lost alot of gigs this way and soon began to listen to blues,folk and just about anything different then the top forty he was forced to play in cover bands. He set out writing song after song and refused to do the cover band thing. Thank God for that because now we have his music.
